Baltimore college student Alexander Kinyua, originally from Kenya, murdered his housemate and ate parts of his brain and heart.

An already grisly murder takes an even more grisly twist. A college student tells police he killed a housemate and then ate parts of the victim’s heart and brain.

Mike Hellgren has more on the stunning details about this gruesome crime.

At the suspect’s bail review Thursday afternoon, a judge denied him bail. But the suspect remained calm. He said very little other than he was originally from Nairobi, Kenya, and had strong community ties to Maryland after living here for nine years. But details behind this stunning crime remain a mystery.

Investigators say 21-year-old college student Alexander Kinyua killed his roommate and then ate his heart and parts of his brain. He cut off his victim’s head and hands and stored them in his family’s townhouse on Terrapin Terrace in Joppatowne.

Family members there declined to speak to WJZ about the chilling crime.

But police say Kinyua’s brother is the one who found the remains, and his father called police.

Democrat John Edwards Tells Reporters “I Did an Awful Lot That Was Wrong” After Mistrial Declared Today

Democrat John Edwards was acquitted on one count of accepting illegal campaign donations today. A mistrial was declared on five other charges.
The trial exposed a sordid sex scandal that was completely ignored by the US media in 2008.

The US Democrat-media complex ignored Edwards’ affair until after the 2008 election even after the National Enquirer released pictures of John Edwards and his love child in 2008.

John Edwards said, “I did an awful lot that was wrong.”

John Edwards was acquitted on one count of accepting illegal campaign contributions and a mistrial was declared on five other counts when jurors said Thursday they couldn’t decide if he illegally used donor money to hide his pregnant mistress while he ran for president.

The monthlong trial exposed a sordid sex scandal that dashed Edwards’ White House aspirations in 2008, and the jury’s decision came on a confusing day.

The judge initially called jurors in to read a verdict on all six counts, before learning that they had only agreed to one. About an hour later, the jury sent the note to the judge saying it had exhausted its discussions.

It was not immediately clear whether prosecutors would retry Edwards on the other counts.

Edwards did not react when the verdict and mistrial were announced, but he was happy and smiling earlier when the jury said it had reached a verdict on one count after nine days of deliberations.

The jury found Edwards not guilty one count of illegal campaign contributions involving $375,000 wealthy heiress Rachel “Bunny” Mellon gave in 2008.

The trial recounted the most intimate details of Edwards’ affair with Hunter, including reference to a sex tape of the two together that was later destroyed. It also rehashed the elaborate cover-up that involved his most trusted aide, the aide’s wife, an elderly heiress and a wealthy Texas donor.

Edwards told reporters, “I don’t think God’s through with me.”

Canadian Authorities Were Tipped Off on Porn Star Cannibal’s Movie “1 Lunatic 1 Icepick” Days Ago

Canadian authorities were tipped off last week about the murder after the video “1 lunatic 1 Icepick” was posted on YouTube. A Montana lawyer claimed he tipped off Canadian authorities days ago.

In the days leading up to the discovery of the foot, Edmontonian Mark Marek was told a video on his website could be footage of the murder.

The horrific online “shock” video Marek posted online is entitled “1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick” and contains the apparent murder, beheading, dismemberment, cannibalism and necrophilia of an unidentified Asian man by another man.

Marek, who runs an Edmonton-based gore website, posts what he calls “uncensored reality” or in other words: images and videos of gruesome deaths from across the world.

He said everyone — including the media and people on his site — are asking him the same question: Were the severed, foot, severed hand and mutilated human torso found in Ontario and Quebec those of the man murdered in the video?

“I have no proof of anything,” said Marek, adding he was unable to extract any digital information from the video that links Magnotta to it’s creation.

“But 95% of members who’ve seen death many times — including doctors and forensic experts — agree that it’s real.”
